
DR. RYAN DAY
Dr. Ryan Day, Ph.D. is a clinical and forensic psychologist with Recovery Alberta, Calgary Region. He
currently practices at the Forensic Adolescent Program, where he works closely with an
interdisciplinary team of physicians, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in
the assessment and treatment of individuals involved in the criminal justice system. In this capacity
Dr. Day has developed an expertise in assessment including, psychological assessment,
psychoeducation/autism assessment, and risk/legal assessments. He has also provided expert
assessment for the Provincial Courts (family and youth court) and Court of Kings Bench of
Alberta. Dr. Day also works as a sessional instructor for the University of Calgary Psychology
Department where he has taught Adult Assessment and Clinical Supervision and Consultation. In
addition, he has served as a clinical supervisor for advanced Ph.D. candidates both as a practicum
(University of Calgary) and residency (Calgary Clinical Psychology Residency Program)
supervisor for the past 15 years.
