Ms. Erin Shumlich is a registered provisional psychologist who has accumulated a broad range of experience and expertise in the field of psychological assessment and psychology more generally. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Western University and did a one-year clinical psychology residency within Alberta Health Services’ Regional Assessment Program. She has over six years’ combined experience conducting formal psychological assessments in forensic, school, in-patient, and out-patient settings. She has worked in the areas of addictions and mental health, cardiac and metabolic disorders, eating disorders, learning disorders, sports psychology, forensic mental health, and sexuality. She has nine peer-reviewed publications, seven of which she first-authoured, and has made presentations at 20 national and international conferences, including the International Congress of Psychology and the American Psychology-Law Society. In addition to psychological assessment, Ms. Shumlich also specializes in health psychology and clinical/counselling psychology.
